A Night of Celebration Turns Tragic

On the evening of May 15, 1999, 19-year-old Walter Gallegos attended a large party at 13173 Quivas Street in Westminster, Colorado. The gathering, filled with local residents and friends, was intended to be a night of celebration and camaraderie. However, as the night progressed, tensions escalated, leading to a disturbance outside the residence.

The Fatal Incident

Amid the commotion, Gallegos attempted to flee the escalating situation. As he ran from the garage into the street, an unknown assailant fired a shot, striking him. The sudden violence shocked attendees, and despite immediate efforts, Gallegos succumbed to his injuries.
