On February 21, 2019, the residents of Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood were shaken by a gruesome discovery. In an alley near 42nd Street, authorities found the lifeless body of 57-year-old Levolia Smiley. The scene was both horrifying and perplexing, as Smiley had suffered a gunshot wound and his body showed signs of thermal injuries, indicating it had been burned. This brutal act not only shocked the local community but also set the stage for a complex homicide investigation.
Upon the discovery, the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) swiftly initiated a homicide investigation. Detectives canvassed the neighborhood, seeking potential witnesses and gathering any available evidence. Despite their efforts, information was scarce. Longtime residents, accustomed to the quiet nature of their community, were left in disbelief. One neighbor, Dean Bowman, expressed his shock, noting that their street was typically peaceful and that neighbors looked out for each other. The sudden and violent nature of Smiley's death left many unsettled and yearning for answers.
Levolia Smiley was a longtime resident of Louisville, known to his family and friends as a father and sibling. His obituary reveals that he was survived by his mother, Mildren Ross, his children—Levolia Florence, Ricky Griffin, Atwan, Terrell Baker, Martice, Tony, and Azaria Garrett—and his siblings, Sheila Elliott, Sandra Elliott, Milton Elliott, and Thomas Ross Jr. The loss of Smiley was deeply felt by his family, who remembered him for his presence in their lives.
The Shawnee neighborhood, characterized by its tight-knit community, grappled with fear and uncertainty in the aftermath of the murder. Residents, who once felt secure in their surroundings, began to question the safety of their streets. The fact that such a heinous act could occur in their vicinity was a chilling reminder of the unpredictability of violence. Community members expressed hope that law enforcement would swiftly apprehend those responsible, restoring a sense of security and justice to their neighborhood....Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o

on The Unsolved Disappearance of Kenneth Wayne Moss: A 20-Year Mystery in Harrisburg, Arkansas
I have always known the law and powerful people were involved in Kenny's murder. After he went missing I was fallowed and stalked by people, some looked like cops or undercover investigators and some looked like crooks, mobsters and drug dealers. And the law have never questioned me or asked me anything about what happened even though I know all of this information. I know that there are still people out there who want to shut me up. Cops have never tried to help me with the investigation they've only harrassed me and put bogus charges on me and have literally tried to pin stuff on me and send me to jail. When Ive tried to talk about Kenny to cops they either played dumb and wanted no part of it had 0 interest or they literally ignored me and acted as if I was not even speaking all while attempting to railroad me and lock me up. I have never even done drugs and I've always tried to live a legal abiding life. I'm now a father and husband works and makes an honest living.
