A Tragic Prelude: The Murder of Her Fiancé

Just days before her own death, Tina's fiancé, Richard Sleziak, and his friend Kenneth Lewis were murdered in Gary, Indiana, during a drug deal gone wrong. This devastating event profoundly affected Tina, leading her to become more reserved and withdrawn. Despite the proximity of their deaths, authorities later determined that Richard's murder was not connected to Tina's.
