In the early hours of July 9, 2017, the city of Indianapolis was shaken by the tragic death of Jasmine S. Moore. At just 28 years old, Jasmine's life was abruptly ended by a senseless act of violence, leaving her family and community in mourning. Despite the passage of time, her murder remains unsolved, casting a lingering shadow over those who knew and loved her.

The Fateful Night: Events Leading to the Shooting

On that ill-fated morning, Jasmine was near Long's Bakery, a popular establishment located at the intersection of West 16th Street and Tremont Street. Reports indicate that the shooting occurred just before 3:30 a.m., shortly after patrons had left the nearby Sunset Strip adult entertainment club. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) noted that two groups in cars were involved in a dispute, leading to shots being fired.
