A Teenager Disappears Without a Trace

On December 14, 2018, 15-year-old Nahomy Banegas-Banegas vanished from her home in Oakland, California. Her family reported that she was last seen at home when they left for work that morning. Upon returning, Nahomy was gone, leaving no immediate clues about her whereabouts. There were no signs of forced entry or struggle, and no note was left behind. The suddenness of her disappearance left her family and community in shock, initiating a search that has spanned years without resolution.  

Speculations of a Journey to Tennessee

Early in the investigation, information surfaced suggesting that Nahomy might have traveled to Tennessee. Reports indicated she could be staying with an uncle and friends in that state.
