Gayle Marie Marks was an 18-year-old woman who had recently moved to Stockton, California, to be closer to her mother. Described as bright and beautiful, Gayle was adjusting to her new life and had secured employment as a waitress at Rick's New York Style Pizza. Her future seemed full of promise as she settled into her new environment.
On October 18, 1988, Gayle accompanied her mother to work at the San Joaquin County Mental Health Department. Afterward, she walked alone to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) on Park Street to obtain a California identification card. Records confirm that she completed this task, as her ID card was mailed to her home days later.
Following her visit to the DMV, Gayle attempted to call her mother but left a voicemail when she couldn't reach her. In the message, she did not indicate any distress. She had plans to meet a friend before starting her work shift at 5:00 p.m. However, she never arrived at her friend's place or at work. Her last paycheck remained unclaimed, and all her personal belongings were left at home.
When Gayle failed to show up for her scheduled work shift, her employer contacted her home, prompting immediate concern. Her sudden disappearance without any known reason or prior indication of distress led authorities to suspect foul play. Despite efforts by the Stockton Police Department, no substantial leads emerged in the initial investigation. ...Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
