Vanished in the Mist: The Unsolved Disappearance of Joseph Lamartina in Niagara Falls

A Promising Life Interrupted

Joseph Mario Lamartina, a 32-year-old from Marlboro, New Jersey, was known for his intelligence, warmth, and ambition. Standing 5'11" and weighing 160 pounds, he had brown hair, brown eyes, and a distinctive Sicilian horn tattoo on his right shoulder. Joseph had previously lived and worked in Depew, New York, as a medical sales representative before returning to New Jersey after his company closed down. His sudden disappearance in December 2018 left his family and friends searching for answers. 

The Last Known Movements

Joseph was last seen on December 14, 2018, at his home in Marlboro. The following day, he checked into the DoubleTree Hotel on Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls, New York, and checked out on December 16. There were no further confirmed sightings until February 8, 2019, when his white 2012 Acura with New Jersey plates was found in the hotel's parking lot, still containing his belongings.
