On August 15, 1997, 17-year-old Kemberly Lorin Ramer vanished from her father's home in Opp, Alabama. A bright and ambitious student, Kemberly was preparing to begin her senior year at Opp High School and had plans to attend the University of South Alabama to study physical therapy. Her sudden disappearance shocked the small community and left her family in a state of perpetual anguish. Despite extensive investigations and numerous searches, Kemberly's whereabouts remain unknown, and her case continues to haunt those who knew her.
Kemberly spent the evening of August 15 with friends and her boyfriend, attending a softball game and socializing. She left her boyfriend's house between 11:00 and 11:45 p.m. to return to her father's residence, a short drive away. Her car was later found parked in the driveway, suggesting she arrived home safely. However, she was never seen again. Her father, who was not home that night, discovered her absence the following morning but initially assumed she was with her mother. When it became clear that neither parent knew her whereabouts, they reported her missing on August 17.
Investigators found signs of a struggle in Kemberly's bedroom, including disheveled sheets and pictures knocked off the walls. Her personal belongings, such as her eyeglasses, contact lenses, jewelry, and money, were left behind, indicating she did not plan to leave voluntarily. Phone records revealed calls made from the house to unfamiliar numbers in Florida during the night of her disappearance. These clues suggest foul play, but no definitive evidence has been found to determine what happened to Kemberly.
Over the years, multiple searches have been conducted in Alabama and Florida based on various tips and leads. In 1998, authorities searched a pond in the Florida Panhandle but found no evidence. In 2001, a non-profit group using cadaver dogs investigated an area known as Baptism Hole, uncovering an engine block tied with a rope, but no human remains. Further searches in 2006 and 2016, including a sinkhole and a well, also failed to produce any new information. ...Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
