Leetus Lorenzo George was born on February 28, 1942, in Kamiah, Idaho. By 2003, he had made his home in Hope, a small, remote town nestled along the Turnagain Arm of Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. At 61 years old, George was known for his rugged independence and love of the outdoors. He stood 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighed approximately 180 pounds, and had brown hair and blue eyes.
