Randy Charles Spring was a 28-year-old U.S. Army veteran with a passion for public service. After six years of military service, including deployments in South Korea, Colorado Springs, and Hawaii, he was honorably discharged in March 1988. Upon returning home, Randy pursued a career in firefighting, working for the California Department of Forestry and volunteering with the Bostonia Fire Department in California. His dedication to helping others was evident in both his professional and personal life.
On the morning of October 10, 1988, Randy's mother dropped him off around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Tipton Road and Whitewater Road near Interstate 10 in Whitewater, California. He planned to spend a few days hiking and camping in the San Jacinto Mountains. Equipped with an army-green backpack containing food stored in Tupperware containers, he wore camouflage-print pants, a dark blue t-shirt, and an army-green jacket. Randy mentioned he would either hitchhike back home or call for a ride upon completing his trip.
Later that day, between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m., there was an unconfirmed sighting of Randy at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains. Despite this potential lead, he was never seen or heard from again. Extensive searches conducted by law enforcement and private parties yielded no trace of his whereabouts.
Randy's mother, Arlene Spring, has never given up hope of finding her son. She recalls how Randy always sent cards and presents during the holidays while serving in the military. The first Christmas after his disappearance, she bought him a new radio and placed it in his room, hoping he would return. Over the years, she has created an album filled with Randy's baby pictures, school photos, and military memories, cherishing the moments they shared....Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
