A Beloved Stylist Disappears

On the night of April 15, 2025, 34-year-old hairstylist Jack “Jax” Gratton left her apartment in Denver’s University Hills neighborhood around 10 p.m., telling her roommate she’d be back in about three hours. She never returned. Surveillance footage captured her leaving with two bags, but since that night, there has been no activity on her phone or bank accounts, and she has not contacted friends or family. 

Red Flags and Immediate Concerns

Jax’s sudden disappearance raised immediate concerns among her friends and family. She left behind her medication, makeup, and her beloved cat, Madam Francesca—items she would never leave without. Her absence was first noticed when she missed several client appointments at Solera Salon Suites, where she operated her own salon, Studio Jax. Friends and clients began to worry when they couldn't reach her, and her parents became alarmed after not hearing from her over the Easter holiday, a time she would always check in. 

Community Mobilization and Search Efforts

In response to Jax’s disappearance, the Denver community rallied together. Friends, family, and local residents organized search parties, distributed flyers, and created a Facebook group titled “Find Jax Gratton Denver,” which quickly garnered over 1,800 members. Search efforts included canvassing areas Jax frequented and coordinating with local organizations to spread awareness.
