On July 20, 2006, 33-year-old Melinda Lorraine Felder left her home in Conway, South Carolina, intending to visit a friend. She never returned. Known affectionately as “Kandie,” Melinda had a history of taking extended trips, sometimes lasting weeks or months, but she always maintained contact with her family. This time was different—no calls, no letters, no trace.
Born on March 12, 1973, in Brooklyn, New York, Melinda was a vibrant woman who loved to dance and write in her journal. She was a mother to three children: Whitney Jackson (now Whitney Williams), Veronica Felder, and Elijah Felder. Despite being separated from her husband for about eight years prior to her disappearance, Melinda remained deeply connected to her children .
Melinda suffered from debilitating seizures, often triggered by stress or excessive heat. These episodes could leave her disoriented, sometimes reverting to a childlike state. Her family feared that she might have experienced a severe seizure, rendering her incapacitated and possibly unidentified in a hospital or care facility .
Initial investigations suggested that Melinda might have moved to 193 Fountain Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, a residence associated with her paternal family. However, when authorities conducted a welfare check, they found that neither Melinda nor her relatives were living there. Public records indicated she may have resided there in 2008, but it's unclear if she actually lived at that address or if someone else was using her identity . on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
