Feng Yu Zhou, a 48-year-old resident of Biddeford, Maine, was known for his steady routine and quiet demeanor. Working at the Koi Restaurant, he was a familiar face to colleagues and patrons alike. On September 12, 2015, Zhou completed his shift as usual. He had the following day off and was scheduled to return to work on September 14. However, when he failed to appear, concerns arose. A check of his residence revealed that both Zhou and his bicycle were missing, marking the beginning of a perplexing mystery. 

The Missing Bicycle

Zhou's bicycle, a charcoal-gray and red Giant Escape 3 hybrid with sixteen-inch wheels, was also unaccounted for. The bike's serial number, C3AJ1093, was noted in missing person reports. The absence of the bicycle suggested that Zhou might have left voluntarily, but the lack of any communication or subsequent sightings cast doubt on this theory.
