Marshall Rand Ellington, a 53-year-old resident of Fort Pierce, Florida, led a modest and somewhat reclusive life aboard a dry-docked houseboat at Riverside Marina, colloquially known as "the Maine houseboat." Standing at 5'11" and weighing approximately 135 pounds, Ellington was a Caucasian male with brown eyes and a mustache. He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did.
