In the spring of 2024, concern grew for a 16-year-old girl from Oklahoma. Kaylyn Ruth Kent, a member of the Chickasaw Nation, was last seen on May 12, 2024, in the Ardmore area. At the time of her disappearance, the teenager stood at five feet five inches tall and weighed around 125 pounds. She had brown hair and brown eyes, and distinctive tattoos that set her apart: the word 'Blessed' was inked on the right side of her neck, and a tattoo of praying hands adorned her right forearm.
