Hello, I see people asking about the timeline. Benjamin was questioned when she had first disappeared but wasn't arrested so they must not have had enough proof at the time. It is known that shortly after he murdered her at Paradise Valley Rd, he was seen in Lynden, WA so maybe having him placed there made it hard to prove at the time it was him? No one in his family ever suspected him as the murderer. For some background on Benjamin, he was born a drug baby. When he got older, he made a bad decision to do some drugs which caused him to develop schizophrenia. No one before this in his family knew what exactly was wrong with him. Although they knew something was wrong with him, they would have never guessed he would do this. It was known he would disappear for a long while and no one would know where he was or what he was up to. Before the drugs and schizophrenia, he was a normal person. But after all that and over the years it has gotten worse and he has become a shadow of the person he was before. I don't understand how that is even possible. 7 months and they just shelve the case? That is so surreal. I have no words that can possibly express how completely wrong this is.
