In the winter of 2018, a 39-year-old female named Tanja Jessica Stuermer vanished from her home in Jackson, Michigan. The last possible sighting of her was on December 20, 2018, when a neighbor saw her in the hallway outside her apartment at the Renaissance Apartments, located in the 700 block of West Michigan Avenue.
