On a stormy January day in 2018, the powerful and mesmerizing waves of the Oregon coast drew the attention of many, including 46-year-old Jose Rodriquez Alvarez. A resident of nearby Newport, but originally from Mexico, Jose was in Depoe Bay on the morning of January 18th.
