In the spring and summer of 2017, a shadow fell over Lumberton, North Carolina, as a series of mysterious and tragic events unfolded, leaving the community unsettled and searching for answers. It was during this troubling time that 41-year-old Cynthia Jacobs, a member of the Lumbee Tribe, disappeared. The last confirmed contact with Cynthia was on May 31, 2017.
