On January 25, 2002, 18-year-old Vincent S. Lamouris, a male from Ghent, Belgium, told his mother he was going to school and then to his job at Pizza Hut. Instead, he took a train to Brussels, boarded a flight to New York City, and was never heard from by his family again. Unbeknownst to his family, Vincent had secretly obtained a passport and erased his computer's hard drive before leaving.
