On a cold November day in 1999, 73-year-old McCombs Ligons vanished from his home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Mr. Ligons, who lived with his son, was last seen at his residence on Progressive Lane around noon on November 4th. Later that afternoon, when his son returned from work, he discovered his father was gone.
