In the early summer of 1992, a young man named Terrence "Terry" Ray Yellowfish seemingly vanished from his life in Lawton, Oklahoma. On June 16th of that year, the 23-year-old, a member of the Kiowa Tribe, left for what was supposed to be a short work trip. He was employed by a moving and storage company and was expected to be gone for only three days, returning on a Friday. However, that Friday came and went with no word from Terrence. He was never seen or heard from again, leaving his family and community with unanswered questions that have stretched across decades. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing cutoff jeans, a t-shirt, a cowboy hat, and tennis shoes, along with sunglasses and a bandana. Terrence is described as a Native American male with black, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. He stood at 5 feet 9 inches and weighed between 155 and 160 pounds. His family remembers several distinct physical characteristics, including a large brown birthmark that started on his left shoulder and extended down to his mid-arm. He also had a circular scar, about a half-inch to an inch in size, on his right cheek, and a tattoo of a heart on his right hip or buttock area. Despite these identifying features, and the passage of time, no trace of Terrence has ever been located. His case was officially reported to the Comanche County Sheriff's Office about two months after he was last seen, on August 13, 1992. The circumstances surrounding Terrence Ray Yellowfish's disappearance remain shrouded in mystery, with very few details publicly available about the investigation. He left for a routine job and simply never came back. There has been no activity on his personal accounts and no contact with his loved ones, who remember him as a son, brother, and uncle. The case is an ongoing investigation with the Comanche County Sheriff's Office, a painful and unresolved chapter for his family and the Kiowa and Comanche communities. The lack of information has made the search for answers incredibly difficult, leaving a void where a vibrant young man used to be and a case that has grown cold over more than three decades.
