In the late hours of September 19, 2018, 25-year-old Kassandra Ramirez was last seen leaving her cousin's home on Melrose Avenue in the Bronx, New York. Surveillance footage captured her at approximately 11:40 p.m. helping an elderly woman with her groceries before she turned onto Melrose Avenue and East 161 Street.
