On October 25, 2016, a distressing event unfolded involving 58-year-old Steven Madsen from Brooklyn, New York. On that Tuesday, Madsen was seen driving his 2007 Nissan Sentra on the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. Eyewitnesses reported seeing him stop his vehicle on the lower level of the bridge, on the side heading toward Staten Island.
