On April 1, 2015, 44-year-old Robert Wayne Roush was last seen in Saratoga Springs, New York. Prior to his disappearance, Roush, a male with brown hair and hazel eyes, had expressed to his family his interest in hiking the Appalachian Trail. He was reportedly wearing cargo pants, a fleece top, and hiking boots, and carrying a large dark grey hiking backpack with camping equipment.
