In the winter of 2014, 52-year-old Albert Charles Haft IV disappeared from Columbus, Ohio, leaving behind a life marked by both artistic talent and personal struggles. He was last seen on December 12, 2014, wearing a black leather coat and dress pants. Haft, who had a history of mental illness and alcohol abuse, may have been in need of medication at the time of his disappearance.
