In a case that began with a simple errand and evolved into a years-long international mystery, nine-year-old Evelin Fabiola Alcantara Legorreta, a female with dimpled cheeks and mildly crossed eyes, disappeared on May 29, 2014. Evelin was last seen in her hometown of Tezoyuca, in the State of Mexico, after she left her home to go buy tortillas from a nearby store.
