In the late summer of 2011, a 62-year-old woman named Patsy Ann Brockbank traveled to Eagle Pass, Texas, a familiar city on the border with Mexico. A Virginia resident, Patsy had grown up in Eagle Pass and was well-acquainted with the area. Her trip was for business; she was in the process of selling a property she owned in the neighboring city of Piedras Negras, Mexico. She was staying at the Holly Inn in Eagle Pass during this time. On August 17, 2011, after arriving in Eagle Pass, Patsy vanished and has not been heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, it is believed she was driving a silver 2011 Nissan Rogue with Texas license plate number CK3N650. The circumstances surrounding Patsy's disappearance remain unclear, and it is not known for certain whether she went missing from Eagle Pass or from across the border in Piedras Negras. Her vehicle, the silver Nissan Rogue, has also never been located. Authorities and her family were left with few leads to follow. The lack of communication from Patsy was highly out of character, sparking immediate concern for her safety and welfare. The case has been classified as an endangered missing person case. Years have passed without any significant developments in the investigation into what happened to Patsy Brockbank. The pain of her absence was deeply felt by her family, and tragically, her mother passed away in 2012 without knowing what became of her daughter. In her obituary, Patsy was referred to as "Patricia Brockbank" and was "presumed deceased." Despite the passage of time, her case remains an unsolved and open investigation with the Texas Department of Public Safety. The lack of answers has left a void for her loved ones and the community, a quiet but persistent question of what happened to the woman who returned to her hometown on a business trip and was never seen again.
