On September 21, 2015, a 20-year-old woman named Pshara Jones, also known to her loved ones as Shara, left her home in Claremore, Oklahoma, and has not been seen or heard from since. That evening, following an argument with her mother, Pshara walked out of their residence on Archer Court. This was not entirely unusual, as she would sometimes leave to cool off after a disagreement, but she had always returned. This time was different. She left without her cell phone and car. Pshara, who is of Biracial, Black, and Asian descent, was last seen wearing a pink or purple shirt, baggy black shorts, black and white knee-high socks, and black and white high-top Nike shoes. She was also carrying a black leather backpack-style purse. Pshara was facing personal challenges around the time she disappeared. She was living with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, and her family reported that her medication was not managing her conditions well. Her family believes this may have made her more vulnerable. In the hours after she left home, there were two transactions on her bank account, one of which was at a Kum & Go convenience store. However, there has been no activity on her accounts since that night. She also failed to pick up her prescription medication and did not show up for her job at a local pharmacy. Concerned when two weeks passed with no word, her mother officially reported her missing. The disappearance of Pshara Jones remains an unsolved case, and foul play is suspected. Her mother held out hope, leaving the front door unlocked for two weeks, praying for her daughter's return. Tragically, Pshara's mother passed away in June 2024 without knowing what happened to her daughter. The Claremore Police Department continues to investigate her disappearance and encourages anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward. The case is a painful reminder of the many individuals who vanish, leaving behind families searching for answers and a community hoping for a resolution.
