On March 5, 2015, 53-year-old Edward "Ed" Lee Foreman was last seen in Geary, Oklahoma. A man known for being in constant contact with his family, his silence the following day was unusual. His daughter, who lived out of state, grew concerned when she couldn't reach him and requested a welfare check on March 6th. The last confirmed sighting of Ed was on surveillance footage from the evening of March 5th, where he was seen stopping to get dinner near his home after work. He was a large man, standing at 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing between 290 and 300 pounds. He had graying black hair, a black and gray mustache and goatee, and hazel eyes. His distinctive features included a scar on his upper right abdomen and a large tattoo of a cross with roses on one of his upper arms. When Blaine County deputies arrived at Foreman's home to conduct the welfare check, they found both him and his black 2006 Hummer H2 missing. Inside the residence, however, they discovered a significant amount of blood and other evidence suggesting a violent crime had occurred. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) later confirmed that DNA from the biological evidence found in the home was a match to Foreman, leading them to believe he was the victim of a homicide. The theory developed by investigators is that Foreman was killed in his home on the evening of March 5th, after which his body was removed from the residence using his own vehicle. The investigation took a turn when a witness came forward, admitting to seeing a man other than Foreman driving the Hummer away from the area of Foreman's home on the afternoon of the welfare check. Based on the witness's description, the OSBI released a composite sketch of the individual, described as a white or bi-racial male, approximately 30 years old, with dark hair and eyes, and wearing a dark-colored jacket. A couple of weeks later, Foreman's Hummer was discovered by a hunter, parked in a wooded area about a quarter-mile to a mile from his home. Despite a thorough search of the vehicle and the surrounding area, Foreman's body was not found. The case remains unsolved, leaving his family without answers or justice. The focus of the ongoing investigation is to locate his remains and identify the person or persons responsible for his death.
