In the summer of 1995, a 31-year-old man named David Ford, who was affectionately known by the nickname 'Peanut,' was living in a group home in Cincinnati, Ohio, due to a mental handicap. On July 6th of that year, he was seen outside in the yard, helping with some of the outdoor chores.
