In April 2013, a 40-year-old man from Shawnee, Oklahoma named Kevin Robert Brown spoke with his mother, Bonnie, for what would be the last time any family member would hear from him. During their conversation, Kevin mentioned he was heading to Topeka, Kansas, for a work opportunity. Since that final phone call, there has been no further contact, and his whereabouts have remained unknown. At the time of his disappearance, Kevin was a Caucasian male, standing approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Kevin's appearance was made highly distinct by a significant collection of tattoos covering his body. These markings serve as crucial identifying features. His abdomen was tattooed with a flaming sun, while his back bore several images, including a wizard, a skeleton, and a heart with wings. Across his chest was the name 'Christine', and both of his arms were also tattooed; his left arm featured flames and a skull, and his right arm had a skull as well. Several months after his last contact with family, a formal missing persons report was filed with the Shawnee Police Department on October 18, 2013, officially beginning the investigation into his sudden and troubling disappearance. The passage of time has not brought any answers or closure for Kevin's family. The plan he mentioned to his mother to travel to Kansas for work remains the last piece of information regarding his intentions.
