In the late summer of 2011, a sense of quiet concern began to grow among the family and friends of Abbas Folks Diane. A 35-year-old man, he was last seen on September 1st in Highland Park, Michigan. On that day, he had checked out of the Woodward Avenue Hotel, and from that point on, his movements became a mystery.
