In the autumn of 2010, concern grew for 48-year-old Lori Jeanette Blaylock when she failed to appear for her job as a respiratory therapist in Bend, Oregon. Her last day of contact was October 27, 2010. Co-workers, worried after she missed a meeting on November 2nd, reported her missing. When authorities initially questioned her husband, Steven Blaylock, he claimed that Lori had simply walked away from their home following a drunken argument and had not come back.
