In the quiet community of Wayne, Michigan, the life of 59-year-old Joseph Keith Smith took an unexpected and baffling turn around March 1, 2013. Known to his loved ones as Keith, the Black male with graying hair, hazel eyes that peered through wire-rimmed glasses, and a mustache, stood between 6 feet and 6 feet 1 inch tall, with a weight of about 200 pounds.
