Cordelia McMinn, a 26-year-old woman, disappeared on May 12, 1976, along with her husband John McMinn, while embarking on a sailing trip from Hanalei, Hawaii. The couple had planned to sail their 25-foot trimaran, named *Drum*, from Kauai to Washington State. Both were experienced sailors who had previously made the voyage from the mainland to Hawaii. They were last seen boarding their boat, but they never arrived at their destination, and neither has been heard from since.
