Clarence Holmes, age 32, went missing on July 5, 2012, while boating on Laurel Lake in London, Kentucky. On the day of his disappearance, Holmes was last seen helping other boaters dock their boats as a severe storm approached. After assisting them, he left a houseboat, intending to return to the marina. However, he never arrived. His boat was later found abandoned on a small sandy island in the lake, but no sign of Holmes himself was discovered.
