In the spring of 1982, thirty-seven-year-old Robin Joyce Bull was starting a new chapter in her life, having recently moved from California to Washington. On May 16, 1982, she left her mother's home in Seattle for an undisclosed location and was never heard from again. Described as a Caucasian female, Robin stood at five feet tall and weighed around 100 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. When she was last seen, she was believed to be wearing a distinctive full-length, light-blue coat with a hood, along with a pair of brown boots. Her sudden departure and subsequent silence were out of character, sparking immediate concern among her loved ones. The mystery deepened five days later, on May 21, 1982, when Robin's vehicle was discovered abandoned in the city of Issaquah, Washington, a suburban community east of Seattle. The car, a white 1970 Datsun 110 station wagon with California license plates, offered few clues as to her whereabouts. The discovery prompted an extensive search of the area surrounding where the vehicle was found, but the efforts of law enforcement yielded no signs of Robin. The King County Sheriff's Office took charge of the investigation, facing the challenge of a case with very few leads from the outset. Decades have passed since Robin Bull vanished, yet her case remains an open and unresolved wound for her family. Having just relocated to the state, her social circle in Washington was presumably small, complicating the investigation and leaving authorities with limited avenues to explore. The core questions of where she was going when she left her mother's house and what transpired between that moment and the discovery of her abandoned car remain unanswered. The investigation into the disappearance of Robin Joyce Bull is a perplexing cold case, a collection of unsettling facts that have yet to form a complete picture, leaving a family to wonder what happened to her after she walked out the door on that May day.
