Deborah Owens was last seen on November 19, 1978, at her home in Oroville, California. She was 23 years old at the time and a mother of two young children. Her husband, Marvin Gail Owens, reported her missing two days later. Deborah's disappearance was considered out of character, as she was known to be a caring mother who would not leave her children without checking on them.
Over the years, suspicion grew around Marvin Owens, especially given the troubled nature of their relationship.
