In the summer of 1989, 30-year-old Barbara Elizabeth Miller, a mother to a young son, disappeared from her home in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, leaving behind a community and a case that would remain shrouded in mystery for decades. On July 1st of that year, she was planning to attend a friend's wedding.
