In the summer of 2023, a 35-year-old man named James Howen Ramirez vanished while visiting a friend in Ashland, Oregon. Originally from Guatemala, Ramirez was in the United States on a nine-month work visa. On Friday, July 7, 2023, he went to see a friend in Ashland and has not been seen or heard from since that day. His sudden disappearance raised immediate concern, prompting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the last time he was seen.
