On a spring day in Maxton, North Carolina, a 19-year-old man named Terry Lynn Lowery vanished, leaving behind a deepening mystery. On May 8, 1995, Terry, a member of the Lumbee Tribe, left his home on foot to visit a friend who lived nearby. He was a familiar face in his community, known by the nickname 'T-Bone.'
