In the spring of 2005, a 44-year-old woman named Wendy Marie Dehoop disappeared from Eugene, Oregon, leaving behind a life and a family. On the morning of April 22nd, Wendy reportedly dropped her husband off at his job at a Home Depot on Green Acres Road. She was then supposed to drive to her own job at the Georgia-Pacific mill in Halsey, a town about 30 miles away. Wendy never arrived at the mill, and concern grew when she failed to make contact.
