In the summer of 2023, concern grew for a 15-year-old boy, Daniel Bruce D. Celestial, who was reported missing from Spanaway, Washington. He was last seen on July 17, 2023, leaving his residence. At the time he went missing, he was reportedly walking towards the Summit Apartments on Waller Road in Tacoma, which was about six miles from his home.
