On the evening of March 24, 2024, Andrew "Andy" Tench, a 31-year-old man from Belmont, North Carolina, ventured into Charlotte to celebrate his birthday. He was last seen at The Bar at 316, an LGBTQ+ nightclub in the city's Dilworth neighborhood. Tench, who told his family he was going out to play pool and have a few drinks, never returned home.
