On May 27, 2025, in Albany, Oregon, 17-year-old Mia Angel Nevaeh Thomas was discovered to be missing from her home. She had been seen in her room the previous night, and someone in the household heard her moving about at 2:30 in the morning. However, by 8:00 a.m., Mia was no longer there, and some of her possessions were also gone.
