In the winter of 2023, a 33-year-old man named Luis Alberto Alvarado-Martinez, a resident of Salem, Oregon, vanished under puzzling circumstances. On January 31st, he traveled to Cave Junction to meet with a male acquaintance with whom he intended to seek employment in White City, a community in Jackson County.
