In the late summer of 2009, a family in Phoenix, Arizona, was forever changed by the disappearance of 12-year-old Yareli Marlem Barajas. On August 11, 2009, the young girl with black hair and brown eyes was last seen in the area of 4500 W. Indian School Road. Yareli, who was born on December 9, 1996, was a young girl with distinguishing scars on her right hand and pierced ears.
