At the time of his disappearance, he was described as being 5'9" tall and weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo of the name "Maria Luisa" on the left side of his chest. Cardenas may have had a shaved head and a goatee when he went missing. He was last seen wearing a shirt and blue and white shorts. Cardenas also suffers from depression.
