On August 11, 2006, 42-year-old Scott Edward Hall made his last contact with his family via telephone from his sailboat, the "Jubilee," which was moored at Isthmus Cove on Catalina Island, California. After this call, he was never heard from again. His boat remained docked at the cove and was later found with his cellular phones, identification, and other personal effects still on board.
